How to determine the right height of a walking stick?
MEASURING THE HEIGHT OF THE WALKING STICK
1) Remove the rubber tip from the bottom of the stick;
2) Stand upright (with your usual shoes) with your arms stretched along your hips;
3) Place the stick upside down and place it alongside the body so that it goes from the side of the foot to the side of the wrist;
4) Mark with a pencil the point at which the stick is at the wrist (the internal socket);
5) Then cut the stick at that point and put agai the rubber tip on.
Please note: Different shoes can change the correct height of your walking stick.
Our wooden walking sticks are supplied with a length of 92-96 cm.
Remember: Measure twice... Cut once!
ADJUSTABLE WALKING STICKS have a push-button system:
Loosen the locking ring in the center of the stick; push the button inwards and slide the bottom tube up or down until you reach the desired length, then hook the button into the corresponding hole. Check that the button clicks into place.
Before each use check that the height adjustment button is firmly locked in place.
